ECC 1-19-22 Meeting Agenda

  1. Adopt minutes from November and December meetings.

2. Stream Segment Participation. Thanks to Misha for completing.

3. Drinking Water Protection initiative.

  • I’ve been working on an FAQ for our well testing survey. (copy attached, with separate survey intro)

  • Mike Boylan withdrew from the Committee; Rod Dressel, Sr., has replaced him.

  • Steve Winkley continues to plot wells. He devised a new 24” x 36” Base Map from our NRI “using the GIS map packages developed by Ingrid Haeckel,” showing house numbers within the parcels. (copy attached)

4. “Handshake” internships. Discuss

5. Update on Alexander Subdivision.

Nothing new. It was on the Planning Board agenda for December, but was taken off. Seems to hinge on definition of “Lowest Feasible Elevation.”

6. Update on Awosting Club

Town Board will be having an Executive Session to review the history of this and determine how it should be handled from here. I sent them (and the ECC) a lengthy timeline. I’ve attached here an abridged version of the timeline.

ECC 12-15-21 Meeting Agenda

    2. the potential for Cornell Cooperative Extension to review and comment on the Draft Comprehensive Plan before it’s adoption by the Town Board.

8. Outreach and Education.   Dec 5 Virtual Viewing Party went well.  Neil, Janet, and Mike attended. Q&A facilitator John Messerschmidt was very knowledgeable and shared ideas on future topics since the Rochester ECC, which he vice chairs, recently conducted a series.
